Bardsville is the seasonal reception post of Zec de la Rivière Sainte-Marguerite (controlled harvesting zone), where a lookout yields a great view of a salmon pool.

On the Sainte-Marguerite River, a licence is required for fishing from June 1 to September 15. It is available at the Bardsville and Sacré-Coeur reception offices.

In Bardsville, apprentice anglers can sign up for introductory Atlantic salmon fishing lessons, given by an experienced guide. The price includes garments, equipment and the lessons.
